Special Hanuman Jayanti Celebrations at Parmarth Niketan took place in the divine presence of HH Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji, President of Parmarth Niketan, who returned back home to Rishikesh after two weeks of being abroad.
The celebrations included special Hanuman Chalisa, divine yagna, Ganga Aarti and Sundarkand Path.
During the Ganga Aarti, Pujya Swamiji emphasized the message and the teachings from Hanumanji’s divine example sharing, “When we live with the attitude of gratitude, an attitude of what through me me not what for me, when we live in the service of the Divine with single minded devotion to the Divine then we truly celebrate the birth of Hanumanji in our own lives. In this way, the auspicious occasion of celebration can be not only one day but every day and every moment of our lives.”
He added, “Today during this elections season we have an opportunity to vote for the leaders who can live and serve these values and the nation with the single minded focus on the well-being of all of its citizens. Therefore it is important to choose ‘Rashtra Bhakti’ just as Hanumanji choose ‘Ram Bhakti,’ with the love and welfare of the nation in our hearts we must all serve ceaselessly just like Hanumanji.”
