Pujya Swamiji’s Divine International Day of Yoga Message

After Ganga’s divine rains and her flowing waters subsided, a beautiful International Day Of Yoga 2021 dawned in Rishikesh and, on this glorious morning, HH Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji – Muniji shared blessings and an inspiring message about the power of Yoga to keep us healthy in the mind and body!
Pujya Swami so eloquently explained that Yoga is not only an ancient system of medical treatment, but it is a fantastic style of living. “Do Yoga to live life with enthusiasm and joy,” He enthusiastically declared, “It maintains both our health and positivity. Yoga is not what we do for 20 minutes or 30 minutes on a mat, it is who we are! Yoga is a way of life. It reflects how we live and think!”

“Become a Yogi and you can be of service to another in their time of need. Today we are speaking so much on boosting immunity, but we should not forget our community and humanity. Yoga is a confluence of immunity, humanity and community. It brings skill to our work and makes us creative and sensitive.

“This year celebrate international yoga day with the theme ‘Be with Yoga Be at Home.’ There is a virus in the air, but yoga prevents the virus in our mind. We should do “Anulom – Vilom”of thoughts – take positive thoughts inside and send negative thoughts outside.

“We must also remember Mother Nature. We should plant oxygen-giving trees during this monsoon season. This is the Earth Yoga. Our mantra should be “Culture,” “Nature,” and “Future”. By protecting our culture of yoga and our nature, we can secure our future.

“Remember,” He concludes, “Yoga is not what we do. It is who we are. The pandemic has taught us that Health is our True Wealth, so let us pledge to make every day yoga day. Let us always Learn Yoga, Live Yoga and Love Yoga!”
