With Pujya Swamiji and Pujya Sadhvi Bhagawatiji’s blessings, a three-day medical camp with Medanta Hospital, Gurgaon was conducted at Parmarth Niketan’s Swami Shukdevanand Charitable Hospital, Swargashram, Rishikesh. Dr. Himanshu Poonia and Dr. Shakir Khan from Medanta consulted patients with respiratory and cardiology issuesm and Dr. Suparna Joshi consulted patients with other issues.
Free blood tests were taken for patients who were in need, and blood pressure and blood sugar levels were tested for all patients who attended the camp. Patients above the age 40 took bone density tests for free, and patients who had vitamin and calcium deficiency were given supplements for the same.
Many patients had issues like asthma, which was consulted by the doctors’ team and appropriate medicines were suggested. Patients who were in need of advanced treatment and surgery were asked to visit Medanta Hospital, Gurgaon where they were promised to be seen for free. All the patients were provided free medicines by volunteers of Divine Shakti Foundation.
With lots of satisfaction we look forward to conducting more such camps again to improve the health of people in need!
