#PrayerforEveryone #LightTheWay was observed at Parmarth Niketan (Rishikesh) during the divine evening Ganga Aarti ceremony on 24 September, 2015. Joined by millions of our global family around the world, our Aarti lamps were lit at sunset to Light the Way for a better future for people and the planet! Prayers and encouragement were offered, reminding us that we each can indeed make a difference by the actions that we take.
This event preceded and honoured World Leaders adopting the Global Goals for Sustainable Development by 2030 on 25 September 2015 and was to encourage those leaders to:
- End extreme poverty
- Fight inequality and injustice
- Combat climate change
