The Danube River met Maa Ganga on the evening of 30 October 2015 at Parmarth Niketan as a part of Ganga Aarti.
We were honored with traditional Austrian musical selections in addition to Bhajans, performed by the Spring String Quartet and Ensemble Pasticcio from Austria , along with our Rishikumars, who were directed by Gerald Wirth, President & Artistic Director of the twice Grammy Award winning Vienna Boys Choir.
H.E. Bernard Wrabetz, Ambassador of Austria and H.E. Deep Kumar Upadhyay, Ambassador of Nepal were in attendance along with Joana Daniel Wrabetz, Wife of the Ambassador of Austria, and Michael Heinz, Director of the Cultural Forum of the Austrian Embassy.
Along with the beautiful music, a highlight of the evening was the ceremonial merging of the Danube into Ganga performed by Ambassador Wrabetz and Pujya Swamiji.
