Recently the Respected Secretary of Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, Shri Ajeet Sharanji and his wife Smt Neelam Sharanji alongwith Director of Morariji Desai National Yoga Institute, Dr. Basavaraddiji, visited Parmarth Niketan (Rishikesh).
During their visit they meet with Yoga Institutes all across Rishikesh, listened to their issues, suggestions and ideas as well as shared the various programmes and schemes of the government.
They also joined for the divine Ganga Aarti ceremony and were honoured by Pujya Swamiji with a sacred Rudraksha sapling for the incredible work that they were doing to bring Hon’ble Prime Minister Repsected Shri Narendra Modiji’s vision for Yoga to fruition.
The upcoming International Yoga Day celebrations was discussed with Pujya Swamiji and Sadhvi Bhagawatiji, creating a system to certify Yoga Practitioners in India and many other topics related to spreading this beautiful tradition of peace and well-being were also discussed.
