Meeting with Hon’ble AYUSH Minister, Shri Shripad Yesso Naikji

HH Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji met with Hon’ble AYUSH Minister, Shri Shripad Yesso Naikjito discuss the successful completion of the International Yoga Festival (IYF) at Pamarth Niketan (Rishikesh). The Ministry of AYUSH, Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board and Parmarth Niketan served as partners in this year’s IYF.

Pujya Swamiji shared His vision to have next year’s festival bring together people from 125 nations. This year, 101 nations were represented. They briefly laid out avenues to reach more diverse populations, which include inviting them to the banks of Mother Ganga, to not only receive the teachings but to receive the touch and transformation of Yoga.

They also discussed plans for a National Arogya Fair in Rishikesh that would bring together the best institutions, teachers, practitioners and experts of Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani and Siddha in one place. Pujya Swamiji blessed the Minister with a sacred Rudraksha sapling, honoring his green leadership along with his commitment and dedication to spreading and sharing Yoga with all.
