Niti Aayog’s Respected Dr VK Saraswatji, one of India’s most gifted scientist, accomplished researchers, visited Parmarth Niketan (Rishikesh) recently with Mr Bhardwajji to take part in the sacred Ganga Aarti ceremony.
Dr Saraswatiji currently serves as a Member of the Niti Aayogi, has served formerly as the Director General of DRDO, Chief Advisor to the Defence Minister of India as well as the Former Secretary of the Department of Defence’s Research & Development.
Under his leadership, DRDO has provided technologies that have been developed for the benefit and security of the nation, ranging from everything including rocket engines, missiles, chickengunya and dengue diagnostic kits, solar powered green shelters and bio-digester technologies.
He thoroughly enjoyed his time on the banks of Mother Ganga, chanting all of the beautiful prayers with the Parmarth Rishikumars and remembered very fondly his previous visit in which he and his wife were blessed by HH Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji – Muniji last April.
He was honoured with a sacred rudraksha plant, as Pujya Swamiji’s blessing, as a symbol that as we pave the road map for a #NewIndia it should be a #Clean, #Green and #Serene India. Dr Saraswatji took part in a beautiful water blessing ceremony with the Rishikumars just after the divine Ganga Aarti.
He was so touched by his visit, by Pujya Swamiji blessings that he pledged to come back and lead a special lecture on balancing spirituality and sustainability. Before leaving he personally distributed prasad to all beautiful rishikumars and blessed them so that they to may be of great serviceto their nation and to their communities.
