A beautiful three day International Yoga & Millets Festival took place in Vrindavan from 25-27th March, organised by Parmarth Niketan, in partnership with Vrinda Foundation, and others.
With the blessings and leadership of HH Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji & Pujya Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswatiji, it brought together revered saints from Vrindavan in a beautiful programme of morning yoga, meditation, inspiring lectures, clean-up programme, special millet fair and millet based meals with divine Yamuna Aarti to conclude the days.
Graced by Hon’ble Minister of WCD, UP, Smt Baby Rani Mauryaji and Hon’ble MP Dreamgirl Hema Maliniji in addition to special meetings and talks about a clean Yamuna with Vice Chairperson at UP Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad Shri Shailja Kantji. Revered Purohit Samaj, Kathakars and local MLAs came together to celebrate a beautiful Yamuna Chath celebration as a special grande finale.
Local organisations, saints and people serving Vrindavan and making contributions in various fields were honoured with special momentos in the three day event. Special thanks was given to Dr Meghna Chaudharyji, Patron of Vrinda Foundation, Judge Sirohiji and Vikas Sharmaji, Co-Convenors of the Festival as well as Yogacharya Ganga Nandini and many others for their seamless coordination and hard-work.
The event was beautiful success and a great beginning to a movement to galavanise a mass movement for a clean and free-flowing River Yamuna for all.
