Day 2 Afternoon at IYF 2016

The second day of the International Yoga Festival at Parmarth Niketan concluded with divine satsang with Pujya Mooji leading participants farther in their path of Self enquiry, assessing layers of our false identification to ultimately realize that which is our true self, the source of all love, joy and peace.

The beautiful evening of Ganga Aarti, which honours a few of the more than 70 presenters everyday, honoured healer and yoga therapist Dr. Fharzana Siraj, Founder of Orange Ray Wellness Yoga Center, Kundalini Senior Yogacharya, Sukhmandir Singh, Bharat Shetty, Founder of Indea Yoga and Anandra George, teaching Naad Yoga, mantra and meditation this year. Maj General Raina and his wife were also especially honoured for joining during this special time and for their leadership in leading the Army to serve in Yoga In Action. Their green projects, inspired by Pujya Swamiji’s green vision, include large-scale tree plantation, clean up drives as well as many other activities. Pujya Swamiji blessed everyone with a sacred green Rudraksha sapling.

The evening concluded with Bhakti filled, devotional chanting and dancing led by Kirtaniyas who are global collective of energetic, multi-talented artists that IYF is glad to have join us this year. There divine music and chanting led everyone off their feets and into joyous dancing along the flowing banks of Mother Ganga, as an incredible way to conclude the second day of #IYF2016.
