The first women Former President and Vice President of Ecuador Ms. Rosalía Arteaga Serrano and her sister Claudia Arteaga came to visit Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji – Muniji and joined Him for divine Ganga Aarti recently. Pujya Swamiji welcomed them with a special flower mala and honoured them in Ganga Aarti with a sacred Rudraksha sapling. Being their first time in Rishikesh, they were incredibly touched and moved by the experience and expressed their desire to return to their Himalayan home again soon.
Pujya Swamiji shared about Mrs Serrano’s contribution to the Amazon region and inspired a green pledge to plant and protect trees, our environment and work together towards the SDGs. He shared that when divine shaktis (divine feminine) come forward to lead the way and be the change then great strides are made to not only protect our world’s greatest oxygen and green banks,the Himalayas and the Amazon, but also to build a cleaner and greener world for everyone everywhere.
