Girl Power Project is the ultimate tool for empowering girls to be the first line of force in battling all forms of gender-based suppression. With the inspiration and blessing of HH Param Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji, Founder and Chair of Divine Shakti Foundation, and the guidance of Pujya Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswatiji, DSF President, we are excited to start this innovative and ground-breaking initiative in the Ganna Krishak Public Inter College at Doiwala – an initiative where girls will be taught how to be smart, healthy and self-empowered so that they can achieve their dreams.
Before the training, a pre-survey was conducted to better understand the key issues that these girls are struggling with. The results of the survey are informative and evocative and, using them to guide our efforts, we are thrilled to begin Phase 1 of the Girl Power Project!
