Highlights from the Himalaya Diwas: Uttarakhand Sustainable Mountain Development Summit yesterday with the Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Trivendra Singh Rawatji, graced and blessed by Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji – Muniji and inspiring addresses by Dr.Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishankji, Former Chief Minister UK, Member of Parliament, Haridwar and Dr Anil Joshiji, Founder President HESCO and Shri Sushil Ramolaji, Secretary, Integrated Mountain Initiative.
On the occasion, Pujya Swamiji gave a riveting and uplifting speech on how each citizen and each state in the Himalayan Region can truly be the solution to the challenges facing one of the world’s largest water towers and oxygen banks- the Himalayas. He encouraged everyone to take the Information and Inspiration they gathered in the two day Uttarakhand Sustainable Mountain Development Summit, to use it in finding Innovative solutions and then following it through to effective Implementation. He encouraged everyone that with this 4I programme we would realise that truly “We Are the Solution.”
Pujya Swamiji honoured everyone with a sacred green Rudraksha plant as a symbol of green development.
