Yoga lovers, seekers, devotees and pilgrims from across India and around the world joined in the Yoga Capital of the World – Rishikesh – at Parmarth Niketan Ashram to celebrate International Day of Yoga with 75 other locations across India and thousands of other sites around the world!
It was all a part of 75th Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav of Yoga Day, an event jointly organized by the Department of AYUSH, Government of Uttarakhand in collaboration with Parmarth Niketan and graced with the presence of HH Param Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji; the Hon’ble CM of Uttarakhand, Shri Pushkar Singh Dhamiji, alongside his wife and children, Hon’ble Cabinet Ministers of Uttarakhand, Shri Subodh Uniyalji and Shri Prem Chand Aggarwalji; MLAs Smt Renu Bishtji and Rajkumar Poriji; Mayor of Rishikesh, Smt Anita Mamgainji, and many other eminent dignitaries.
