Padmasana Inaugurated at Parmarth

A beautiful inaugural ceremony of Padmasana brought together a delegation from Bali, Indonesia. They offered prayers and jointly performed the Ganga Aarti at Parmarth in the divine presence of Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji and Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswatiji. Ide Pedanda Bang Buruan Manuaba, Head Priest of World Hindu Dharma, Indonesia, President of the Harijan Sevak Sangh Shri Sankar Sanyalji, Indra Udyana, Head of the Gandhi Ashram, joined more than 50 Pedanda’s and devotees from Bali of the Soma Temple for this auspicious occasion.

The inauguration ceremony began by collecting sacred water of the Ganga River to offer to the Padmasana as the delegation filled beautiful kalashas (pots) with sacred water. It included beautiful prayers in Balinese and Sanskrit mantras and finished by abhishek of the Padmasana. A special silence ceremony was held for Ratu Pedanda Made Gunuang who was a revered priest from Bali who visited Parmarth ten years and then again four years ago before leaving his physical body to set the conceptual foundation of Padmasana on the banks of Mother Ganga with the blessings of Pujya Swamiji.

*The Padmasana is located in the Parmarth Niketan premises and serves to not only welcome Indonesian people to India but also strengthen the relationship between both countries. Pujya Swamiji graciously blessed the initiative which was something that had been in pipeline for many years and even shared the perfect location for the placement of the Padmasana.
