Pashupatinath Bhagimathi Ganga Aarti

Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji – Muniji and Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati graced and blessed the Pashupatinath Aarti during their trip to Nepal recently.
Pujya Swamiji especially appreciated the dedicated team who had been committed to keeping the Aarti going for the last 11 years.

Pujya Swamiji mentioned that he had inspired the Aarti many years ago whilst enroute to Kailash Mansarovar and was so glad that it was continuing to inspire and touch so many pilgrims and yatris. The organisers of the Aarti were so glad to have Pujya Swamiji’s darshan and blessings. The singers and musicians in the Aarti were once Parmarth Rishikumars and were so thrilled to have Pujya Swamiji with them in Nepal.

The committee also mentioned that every weekend they gather together to clean up the banks of the Bagimathi River and ensure that it is clean and green for all. Pujya Swamiji was so deeply touched to hear this and lead everyone in a pledge to protect and preserve our sacred spiritual-cultural heritage, which has at the very core of it protecting our sacred rivers and our environment on whose banks our lives are intertwined and interlinked.
