Famous and Beloved Poet, Lyricist, Screenwriter and Chairperson of the Central Board of Film Certification Shri Prasoon Joshi ji came home recently to Parmarth Niketan with his wife Ms Aaparna Joshi, his daughter Aishyaanya, brother Mohit Joshiji, his sister and other beautiful members of his family.
During his meeting with Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji and Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswatiji he was apprised of various plans and activities taking place under the Global Interfaith WASH Alliance, Ganga Action Parivar and Parmarth Niketan. Various short films that the team had been working on, cleanliness campaigns, green technology solutions and public service announcements were shared with him.

Later in the evening over dinner, he was informed about the plans for the upcoming Kumbh Mela 2019 and was warmly invited to celebrate his daughter Aishyaana’s green birthday on the holy banks of Maa Ganga at Parmarth, to which Aishyaana also happily agreed.
Before leaving, he and his family joined for a special water blessing ceremony and were gifted a set of the 11-volume Encyclopedia of Hinduism, a project of the India Heritage Research Foundation, and Pujya Swamiji’s Biography, By God’s Grace, for his library.
