Project Hope volunteers from Parmarth Niketan continue to serve, survey and plan for the villages most affected in the Kedar Valley. Recently a team of volunteers captured the beauty, the horrors and the hope of the Guptkashi, Kalimath and Gaurikund areas, trekking for many kilometres and on non-existent roads to reach out to the most remote and cut-off villages.
Our dedicated and brave volunteers not only provide essential relief material to the locals but are forever inspired, touched and transformed by the stories, the resilience and the sense of belonginess of the local mountain people as well as deep reverence and love for the enchanting and sacred land of the mountain state.
