Pujya Sadhviji Joins the Interfaith Discussion on Climate Change and Environmental Protection

In the Morocccan Center for Tolerance and Interfaith Dialogue forum on Climate Change and Environmental Protection held virtually recently, Pujya Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati joined HH Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji – Muniji, Mohammed Aabidou of the Moroccan Center Dr Azza Karam of Religions for Peace International, Rabbi David Rosen of the AJC – American Jewish Committee in a beautiful gathering of interfaith leaders from around the world. The Moroccan Center is a leader amongst African and Muslim nations advocating for Climate Action, and tonight’s powerful webinar bears witness to their advocacy.
Pujya Sadhviji shared that “Our religion is not meant to be just that which happens in our places of worship. The teachings in those places of worship must then be taken out into the world. It is essential for all of us – leaders of faith, adherents to faith, lovers of God – to ensure that we are not only guiding our communities to attain Heaven after death, but that we are guiding them to create Heaven right here on Earth, for ourselves and for all.”
