Pujya Swamiji met with His Excellency the President of India Shri Ram Nath Kovindji yesterday at Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi at the concluding ceremony of the Bharat Yatra, with Nobel Laureate Shri Kailash Satyarthi.
Pujya Swamiji also discussed and warmly invited the Hon’ble President to inaugurate a large scale Sarva Dharma Swachhagraha Sammelan in November that is being planned to bring together interfaith leaders with more then 5000 members of tribal communities. Pujya Swamiji also warmly invited the Hon’ble President to inaugurate the International Yoga Festival next year on the 1st March, 2018. The Hon’ble President mentioned his enthusiasm for the Yoga Festival since he heard Pujya Swamiji speak about it earlier this year in Bihar. Pujya Swamiji congratulated and blessed the Hon’ble President with a sacred Rudraksha sapling, upon receiving which the Hon’ble President smiled and said that green saplings are a signature by which he fondly remembers his meetings with Pujya Swamiji.
Pujya Swamiji also invited Kailash Satyarthiji, who visited Parmarth Niketan earlier this week, to be a special guest and speaker during the world renowned IYF, sharing with participants from more than 108 countries how Yoga can be practiced off the mat and in the world.
