During the seven day event, the largest interfaith gathering, from the 1-7th Nov at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre the Ontario Sikhs Gurudwara Council prepared fresh langar for all attendees and served visitors of all religions, caste, gender, economic status or ethnicity. The leftovers from the langar were further donated to Toronto centre that help feed the hungry. Pujya Swamiji and GIWA’s Faith Leaders Give Special Thanks for the Langar Seva organized by the Sikh Community in Ontario. Pujya Swamiji said, “On one side there is Faith Parliament and other side there is Food Parliament and the bridge between the two is key to true harmony, health and happiness. When we break bread together we are simultaneously building bridges of oneness and togetherness.”
