Today at Parmarth Niketan Ashram, with Pujya Swamiji’s blessings, there was a Water Blessing Ceremony held with the Beginner Foundation Yoga course students, sevaks, and Rishikumars. 6 countries were represented by the yoga students–Romania, United States, Japan, China, Italy and India.
In the Water Blessing Ceremony thanks is given for the ancient, life-giving rivers and water bodies and we pray that all people, all over the world have access to safe, sufficient water. We also do this to raise awareness of water scarcity across the globe, which has reached unprecedented dangerous levels.
