Yog Guru Baba Ramdev ji arrived home at Parmarth Niketan yesterday and was warmly welcomed by Pujya Swamiji & Sadhvi Bhagawatji.
Pujya Swamiji honoured Pujya Swami Ramdevji’s divine mother, whose name is Ghulab (Rose), during the ongoing month long Shri Ram Katha, by giving Pujya Ramdevji a fragrant rose garland in her name. Pujya Swamiji shared, just as the fragrance of the rose garland makes the one wearing it smell beautiful, it also makes the one who has touched it, or the one who has come into contact with it, also fragrant. In that same way Pujya Ramdevji’s great service and great example has truly brought the fragrance of love, devotion and desh bhakti to the nation and to the world.
Pujya Swamiji also shared that perhaps Pujya Ramdevji’s mother or his Guru must have given him only 5 rupees, alluding to his humble beginnings, but today his Patanjali Yogpeeth is growing by many figures. However, Pujya Swamiji shared that these incredible achievements have only strengthened Yogrishi’s deep commitment to giving back and to be of even greater service to mankind.
Pujya Baba Ramdevji blessed everyone during the Green Katha with his beautiful words of wisdom about living a life truly surrendered and devoted to God. He emphasized that performing conscious action in this state of love and devotion is key. He encouraged us to apply the teachings of God in our lives and to act with the awareness of the existence of the one truth, from whom it all began and in whom it will, once again, merge. He also shared beautiful bhajans that moved and touched everyone to sing and chant with him. He later joined Pujya Swamiji and Sadhviji in a short visit to Parmarth’s beautiful organic farm on the auspicious occasion of International Biodiversity Day.
